    Two down, one to go!

The Faith of One contest review has been uploaded.

One game left. The current scores are painfully close. How will this end? how big of a margin will the winning game lead by? We'll find out in a few hours.

I've been informed that my review of The Faith of One is apparently extremely negative. Yeah, it probably is. Thats how I review games. I tend to focus on negative stuff over positive all the time.

The Faith of One is still an awesome game, and I'll probably end up re-writing the review to focus more on the positive points than negative later on, but the score isnt changing.

I'd also like to note that a score in the 80's is very high for me. I dont think you'll ever see me review a game and rank it above close to, or above 90. that would take an absurd amount of perfection.

I wind up taking note of every negative thing in a game as well. It has to be something spectacular in order to get a praise out of me.

I'm assuming the last review will be up in a few minutes?

lol, nope. but it will be up tonight. I promise so much.. thats what I said, I think? that it would be up tonight? I'm playing with a megaphone right now. kinda drunk too. the review is already written, I just gotta transcribe it to the computer from spiral notebook format. you have no idea how intimidating that is to me, right now.

dammit, I cant find the notebook now.

            I'll get it up tomorrow.

adding an extra prize for each winner to make up for my retardedness.

Focusing on negative is no good. Focusing on positive is no good. Balance between the two is good.

That seems like a balanced review to me. I would've been a lot more negative about it, due to its campy nature.

I have no complaints about your review of my game, Valk. It seems very balanced and unbiased. The Faith of One wasn't intended to be like most games. How many RPG's have a Christian theme? I can't even think of one. Many talk about God or a "higher power" such as Yevon or Martel, but I haven't seen any take on the task of being solely Christian oriented. I knew I was taking a huge risk. Actually, as a result I am VERY surprised and VERY pleased at how well the game was accepted by the RPG Maker community. That shows that we have many open-minded members here, which is awesome.

Well, it's not stuffing religion down anybody's throats, is it?

no, it doesnt. but there's no escaping the christian themes in the game, as they're everywhere. to me, thats no different from the religious aspects in the other games I mentioned in the review.

I didn't think there was anything wrong with your review either, maybe you were a bit too hard on the visuals though, but it's no big deal really. And yeah, I thought he integrated the Christian theme very well into the game, there were a few parts at the begining that were a bit corny, but a very good game overall.

I think that the review of Valk's review was overly critical.
