Serious question!

Ok, im new to the whole RPG maker xp scene, and im wondering something..

HOW DO U MAKE THE BLACK STUFF GO AWAY FROM AROUND THE ITEM!!

everytime i place down the item, it looks fine, but when i test play it the item has black around it?

is it possible to make intro's on rpg maker?? for ur games?!?!

lol lemme try that... also is there a way or script to make faces show up in dialog, like on rpg maker 2k
