    GDC: All your bombs are belong to Iwata

    Iwata is supposed to "drop the bomb" about Revolution during his keynote speech at GDC on Thursday.

    What could it be? The Revolution's mystery feature? Revolution game footage? Will this megaton be another megadud?

    Speculate away.

    I think we might actually get to see the Revolution controller in action. Maybe with Zelda TP. I'm not so sure if the mystery feature or game footage will be shown though. I'm thinking they'll wait until E3.

    I think he's simply going to elaborate on their approach for this gen, and perhaps toss in a goodie or two.

    I'm not sure we'll be seeing any more hands-on Rev stuff before E3.

      To tell the truth I didn't realize he was going to be there. I was to ezcited for Spore, but now that I know that i got 2 things to be excited about.

        maybe he'll be comment about some final price issues. maybe it'll be cheaper than any of us have thought..

          hopefully. with PS3 looking to be $400-500, I hope I can afford at least a Revolution.

            We're going to be disappointed, I'm sure. At the most, it's going to be a better-looking remote.

              Well, if you wanna be speculative, the most recent rumor to float about states that the Revolution's final name will be announced during Iwata's Thursday morning keynote.

                It's going to be a sucky name. Nintendo should stick with their project names. "Dolphin" sounds so much better than "GameCube". *remembers a mock image of a dolphin-shaped game console*

                      What I'm wondering is why go through the trouble of creating a logo for "Revolution" when you're not going to keep the name? The "bomb" will likely be something else.

                            I was such a fanboy back then and was so scared they'd really buy sega and capcom and I'd have to buy a gamecube!

                            ...turns out that sega nor capcom have really made many great games on the current gen consoles anyways.
