Well, I got rid of RPG maker 3, it wasen't exactly to my liking. Unfortunently there just wasen't enough to do with it. I'm going to spring for 2 instead because the options seam to be more plentifull. Some ideas i wanted for my game i just couldn't do with 3 and that did not make me happy.

Nice; welcome to the world of RPG Maker 2. I look forward to seeing what you can do with it.

Re: RPG maker 3 gone
Hope you won't mind missing out on others' RPGM3 games."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Re: RPG maker 3 gone
Draygone...that's about the only reason I'm keeping RPGM2 right now (well, that and the fact that I rarely ever sell back any of my games). I want to play others' games, even if (right now) I'm not making anything for that system myself. I think I'll search online for the strategy guide, and maybe then try it again. I'm sorry, but #2 just kind of left me looking dumbly at the screen.

I had a similar experience with 2 as well. I favor XP myself.I think I'll search online for the strategy guide, and maybe then try it again. I'm sorry, but #2 just kind of left me looking dumbly at the screen.
As for the strategy guide, I didn't think it was much of a help. You'll learn more asking questions here at the Pavilion. The guide is more like a proper game manual, it discusses how to make a game using the presets on easy mode and describes the codes and editors in some detail, though not as much detail as the in-game help.

Re: RPG maker 3 gone
The most useful parts of the guide are the listings of the button combinations for different editors and the (unfortunately not quite complete) index of graphics available in the game."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."
