    A request from Misty

Please don't be angry with me, or too shocked.

A lot of you who have known me in the past were probably wondering where I had been for the past couple of months. I know I'm not as well-known as many of the members here, but to those that knew me in the past (and the new friends I've made) please let me explain myself. I had been feeling a little down. Remember the Dragon Fantasy idea I once pitched? With the development team and all? Well, one day, we all got into a huge fight and broke up, and the whole thing got canned. It was such an emotional distress for me that I didn't speak to them for a while. Then, a few months later, I got steamrolled with school responsibilities and family situations. That took an emotional toll on me.

Well now, everything seems fine, and I was able to reconcile with some of my friends (not all of them, however.) But Dragon Fantasy is as good as worm food. Thank you to everyone that supported it and gave good feedback.

I think my long absence has taken its toll on many of those that I knew back in the days before RPG Maker 3 was ever released. (some have forgiven me, but others may not have.)

I just don't feel, however, that I fit in with all of you. I feel I don't really belong here.

So this time around, I ask a request. I wish to be terminated from the Pavilion.

I love each and every one of you. Valkysas, you have done a wonderful job with this site, and I know how hard you work to maintain it. You and Lord Ixzion keep the legacy of RPG Maker alive, so keep on doing it. RPGDesigner, thanks for being my friend--continue the awesome work you do. Hitogoroshi, thanks for everything, buddy. To everyone else, thanks for letting me in your world.

I'll keep you in my heart. Okay? God bless you all.

Plus even if you don't feel like you fit in you can just stick around the workshop boards and get help on things you would otherwise not be able to find out, or help others as they discover these series. Just because you don't feel like you "fit in" doesn't mean you can't still post every now and then, and enjoy the company of those you do fit in with. It seems a lot of people lately have been letting one, or a group of people ruin their experience here because they don't like the person (not sure any of this is happening, but just incase no one felt like mentioning it, and is usually what is implied with people not feeling like they fit in). Others seem to not like the new direction the pavilion is going in, or at least they claim it is going in, but things happen and places change, so hold on to what you used to like and try to find new things to like about the changes.

So why not just lurk in the shadows until you see something that interest you, or you need help with one of the Makers. I don't see this need to delete accounts, and this need to feel like you fit in with everyone here. Nothing personal Misty, I think you have been a nice person and I personally haven't noticed anything suggesting you don't fit in here, just a general trend I've been noticing from all the ban me, or delete my account requests. So find your niche and stay there and don't let the other people bother you. I personally don't post much outside of the workshop threads, mainly because I haven't ever been a big poster at many sites in general, and a lot of things don't personally interest me outside of RPGMaker. So though I might not be buddy buddy with everyone, I've found a couple people I enjoy talking to, and I also just like helping people out with RPGM2, since a lot of people on here helped me out with it when I picked it back up after being overwhelmed by it.

So long story short, why not just stick around and keep talking to those you do fit in with, and just ignore those you don't, or at least don't let anyone make you feel like you need to leave. Just like in real life you're not going to fit in with everyone, so come here for help and the people you do like.

And to reiterate, this is not a personal attack on anyone, just a general observation, and not meant to be taken in a detrimental way, as it is not meant to be that. Of course if you truly feel you don't fit in leaving is an option, and your choice, I just would like to not see another valuable member leave. Though in the future if people are leaving please don't ask Valk to ban/delete you (as he is going to say the same thing), just leave the account unless you ever want to come back, or you just need sometime away. Of course in the end the choice is up to you, but I just want to make sure no one is leaving just because of a couple of people. Of course if you need time away to sort out your life by all means do that, just don't feel like you won't be welcome when you come back.

So remember to embody the coolness, and if you are leaving good luck with wherever life takes you next, but there will always be an open spot for anyone who wants to come back.

It was the wrong way for me to approach all this. Thanks for the kindness.

I thought being away for a while and not always having the opportunity to log in as often as I'd like would alienate those that I knew deeply (yourself, thetruecoolness , RPGDesigner, SirTMagus, etc.) and think I didn't care.

Perhaps I'm paranoid in thinking everybody didn't like me anymore.

This may sound crazy, but my problem is assumption. I assume people don't like me or feel ill towards me.

I have a lot to learn about myself. I'm sorry if my request came off as selfish. I'll try not to let it happen again.

                Yes. Yes, you may.

A few nasty people may pop up here ever so often, but never let any of them get to you. Remember, when positive people outnumber the negative ones, a bag of marshmallows is enjoyed by families the world over, thus leading to a friendlier, more comfortable atmosphere.

If all the nice ones leave because of the nasty ones or otherwise, they will win. Do not let them win.

Hear hear! In fact, I believe the whole four hombres incident began when Redneck left. Manyak then called it quits, with Caciss and finally Jester following. I mean, if Redneck stayed, they all probably would have stayed.
Trust me, even if you are just a newbie to this community again, it won't be that way for long. Give it time, you'll see.
