    Zelda: Twilight Princess

Asked how Zelda: Twilight Princess was progressing, Miyamoto responded: "I would say that we are progressing well with completing it. And one of the most important features is that, because Revolution can run GameCube software, when you play Twilight Princess on Revolution you can take advantage of the Revolution controller."
Looks like we won't have to wait long to swing Link's sword with the Revmote.

So it's finally official. Where did this info come from?

I got it from an IGN article citing an interview between Miyamoto and Nintendo of Europe.

Gamespot, N-Sider and Revolution Report say the same thing.

However, they never stated whether you could use the motion-sensing capabilities or just the buttons. I'd expect them to save the former for an actual Revolution Zelda. Otherwise, they'd screw over the GC owners.

It wouldn't be the first time. The two Game Boy Color Zelda Oracle games had something special you could unlock if you played them on a GBA.

It'd be a legitimate incentive. I'd get a rev just so I could actually SWING the sword. First Person Slasher anyone?

It'd be fun to put the two-part controller together whenever I felt like playing.

The addition will probably seem tacked on, especially since Nintendo still kinda has to get the hang of the idea. Just as long as they still have the lock-on system (and why wouldn't they), I'll be happy with playing with my GameCube controller.

I'll be happy just playing it on my Gamecube if I can't get the Revolution.

                    Re: Zelda: Twilight Princess

I think it'll probably be some kind of minigame or seperate short level for using the rev controller. If the main game has already been built around the GC controls I doubt it'd work with such a drastically different device. And it's not like Nintendo isn't afraid to screw over gamers for not having every piece of their hardware. Remember Crystal Chronicles? Great game as long as you had a few GBAs to connect to your Cube.

Crystal Chronicles was John Mora with or without GBAs or friends.

I'm putting my money on the fishing in Twilight Princess being the part you can use the Revolution controller on.

This looks like a pretty sweet game, but I wish they would hurry up with it and get it on the market :P

So you want a rushed game like Wind Waker was?

                            Of course he does.

And while we're on Wind Waker I still can't believe how much fun I had with that game whenever everything I was doing shouldn't have been fun at all.

Then again that only lasted up until the whole temple thing... That whole half of the game just sucked; badly.

I had fun until after the two temples. You know, that gigantic fetch quest, and the stupid and unbalanced almost-final boss. Being able to control that winged girl was fun, though.
