    Idea for a game

Alright, I just recently got RPG maker 3 and I have been having troubles comming up with an idea for a game. Here is one I thought of though that I think might be an interesting game. This is what an indroduction would be.
    Last Battle
A man recruited into the kings army with hopes to be the greatist general of his time had no idea what was in store for him. The higher he rose through the ranks the more he discovered the secrets that the high cousel kept, secrets that will surly bring misfortune to his kingdom. Follow our hero as he journys to bring an end to the tyrany, and to what could possibly be his last battle.

Hey JinexViper, Welcome to the pavilion. Congrats on buying RPG Maker 3. It sounds like you have a good start on some game ideas. Looking at the available graphics, character figures and monsters can give you more ideas on specifics that you can incorporate. To make your game stand out, you will need to use the field editor and storyteller features to their full potential. Good luck. You'll like it here, I'm sure. Lots of helpful people.

I have been going through the game a bit lately between work and school. Not much time to do so, but i think i got some of the basics down with using events and other such things. One question and this is probably for the workshop but I did get a little frustered when i tryed using events as kind of an opening, to get more of a visual to it instead of a 2d storyteller. Should i direct my conserns to the workshop area for further analysis?

Make a few games to start with, so you have a good idea what you can do, and then think of what would make for good Gameplay, and perhaps not a story. If it's more fun to play than read or watch a movie of, it's a good game to make. Makes me wonder how they would make a game on that Davinci Code, which they are doing...

Maybe I should do that, attempt a game of the davinci code.

              Last Battle?

Does anyone remember the obscure genesis game "last Battle"

It was a port of a Fist of the North Star game.

Why I am telling you this I don't know.

Rule #1, Jinxy: Create a game that you want. Getting ideas from other people is okay, but don't create a game just to impress other people. It's way more fun to do things your way, no matter how cliche the story may be. (It doesn't hurt, however, to throw in a few twists here and there.)

As long as you remember that rule... Well, I don't know. But it's a good rule.

This is a story i enjoy much, with the tyrany and the secrets and the what not.... Makes my head just wonder with ideas on possible stories, multiple outcomes. My notebook is full to the brim with ideas. It's simply amazing the ideas you can come up with when you have a tool in front of you to create such ideas with. (pardon my spelling it's horrible and i use spell check constantly for my game, third pary ofcource)
