G4 realized that being a gaming channel wasn't enough (though one could argue that they designed the channel poorly, by bringing on pretty faces instead of people with actual knowledge and ignoring several subsets of gamers), and they drove off most of TechTV's viewers when they destroyed that channel's shows in order to make them "edgy". The channel has now repositioned itself as more of a men's general interest channel in the model of Spike TV.Last edited by Patryn; 03-14-2006, 05:26 PM.

Spike TV bought G4 which is why the programming is being changed, before long it will be pretty much like a Spike 2.If you don’t like the Revolution controller, you are fundamentally part of the problem and killing the ****ing art form. ~Kieron GillenComment

When did Spike buy G4? I'm pretty sure G4 is still owned by Comcast.

Their MegaMan X8 review was completely unfair. They were even jumping into pits intentionally while exaggerating it's difficulty.
