I just realized an inconsistancy with the school. In the wideview shot of the school, no windows are open. When we go to where Bart is at the chalkboard, the window next to the front door is open. Then suddenly, when the bell rings and Bart heads out, the window is one window furthur than before. It's pretty accurate, they just missed the part where maggie pops out of the bag and marge sighs, and the quick cut across like every character in the show before homer pulls into the driveway.
Props for live action Mr. Burns and Smithers."At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. There's no way they could pull off that really fast vertical pan of the town and all the characters, so I wasn't expecting it.
Waaaay back in the early 90's, they had this simpsons magazine thing that reprinted that shot as a fold out poster. It was called "a split second of springfield." I think I still have that somewhere...Eat Smello.Comment

Well, I looked in the regular places and didn't find it. I did find a poster that was included with the summer issue of simpsons illustrated in 1993. None of these posters would fit on my scanner.Originally posted by John Mora
