For me, it would have to be staying up all night with my old roomate last semester with a few observers to play through the ENTIRE Silent Hill series. In order of 2, 1, 3 & 4. It was insane. And it all started with the Trailer to the new movie.

I've been meaning to do that.Originally posted by Toaster 218For me, it would have to be staying up all night with my old roomate last semester with a few observers to play through the ENTIRE Silent Hill series. Re: Geek Achievements
From 6 pm till... damn, around 10 in the morning. With quite a few breaks in between. We almost gave up. But lucky for us, I've beaten all of them before so I knew what to do and where to go. You might think I'm pulling your leg when I say this, cause we were freaking out ourselves. But when we stepped outside afterwards there was FOG.Originally posted by SirTMagusI've been meaning to do that.

Whenever I see fog in the mornings I always stare at it, waiting for a zombie to appear.Originally posted by Toaster 218From 6 pm till... damn, around 10 in the morning. Re: Geek Achievements
Me, too.I consider my entire life to be one big geek achievement.
In specific I can program in Java, Scheme, and VB. I'm learning Perl and MIPS Assembler (one step above machine language! woo). I've had experience with HTML and I have a book on C++. I also got to implement a few features in PL0, a simplified C-like language used for teaching implementation techniques.
As far as spoken languages go, I speak English, a little Spanish, and even less Japanese. One day I'll be able to read Japanese at a kindergarten level (kanji and everything). What little I have you can borrow, 'cause I'm old...
and I'm blue...

Haha some else knows how to program in Scheme, though I doubt no one knows how or has ever had to program in Squeak except people who go to GA Tech.Originally posted by BlueSenshiMe, too.

I also feel the same way, since I'm up to about 10 languages (Java, C, C++, C#, Scheme, Squeak, MIPS assembly, HTML/CSS, Lisp, BASIC) I know how to program in (some better than others. Also I have a nice collection of coding books now, and some game design ones. I remember spending many nights working on my QBasic programs, even made a simple paint program to help me figure out the coordinates to use in Line statements so I could use them in my 2 player vs RPG I never finished. Now I don't think I've had a semester yet I haven't spent all night working on something.
As for other geeky things I have lost count of the amount of all nighters, and late night code sessions I've pulled, and the number of times I've spent all night with my friends playing C&C and various other games. Not to mention the amount of times I have toted my desktop and CRT monitor to friends houses.
