    The Oscars

Predictable as hell but Jon Stewart was okay.

There was lots of bullshit but what really got me throwing tantrums was the rap song "IT'S HARD TO BE A PIMP" winning and the subsequent "Thank you, Jesus!" and astonishing racism on behalf of junksluts Queen Latifah and Jamie Foxx.

Jon Stewart didn't seem to care for it either: "For those keeping score at home, Scorsese - zero Oscars. Three-Six Mafia - one."

    BUT HEY CRASH WON HUZZAH

At least Brokeback Mountain didn't win.

I thought they had a weak line-up this year as far as Best Picture films.

Words fail to describe my gratitude for this.

I liked the opening with Jon Stewart waking up in bed with Halle Berry and then George Clooney. That was funny. After that I watched Bad Boys II which should tell you how much I did not want to watch the Oscars.
I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

It seems like the Host of the show is always better than the actual show.

I'm just glad Philip Seymour Hoffman got his props.

The only part I saw was the tribute to epics.

A tribute that was long overdue.

I mean, COME ON! Epics have long been ignored by film makers and film audiances.

                    I salute the acadamy.

                      Ignored by film audiences?! HUH???

Dude, it showed Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Titanic, Indiana Jones even BLADE RUNNER. MMF.

Best clip tribute thing ever. I got excited to see Jedi's bike sequence again. It's been so long since I saw Jedi!

edit: The film noir one gave me.... a nosebleed.... as well. I totally need a hat like that.
