My first bout with Diablo II

Never played it before, didn't see what all the hype was about. But I have played Champions of Norrath (somewhat similiar).

And while it's not a very good game... it's very ADDICTING. In one night I managed to clear the first act... wow. And I'm playing as a Necromancer, in case you were wondering.

I'm not even tired. Damn game.

I started a single player bowazon, stupid choice. Couldn't kill Diablo and gave up.

...How can you not kill Diablo with a Bowazon? On Normal, even if you put all your skill points into Cold Arrow you should be able to take him down.

I used to play, did a Meteor/Ice Orb Sorc. Also did a Strafezon (fun), and a Chain Lightning/Hydra Sorc when they decided that Lightning was no longer based on weapon speed. Damn fun game.

40 bucks for the battle chest, I think, online play is free but battle net just **** for anyone that's behind a router.

They nerfed Necros from the behind, they used to be great until they decided to make it so you have to start ALL OVER again to make a decent character.

I had a Necro that could solo the Cows on the hardest difficulty but then Blizzard made him suck...
