Frank Zappa On Steve Allen Show (1963)

    Another rare Internet Find!

    http://www.vidiLife.com/index.cfm?f=...BB-49A8-BE71-1

Watch as Frank performs a duet with Steve Allen. They play Bicycles with orchestral and pre-recorded tape back up.

    Unbelievable!

I'm a big Franky Fan and never saw this!

    Peace.

    I know...

It's not the crowd for whom I posted it... just those one or two people who always comment whenever I post something cool about Franky!

    And this is real rarity.

No big loss if no one else cares!

    Peace.

    MOO!

I'll check it out when I get home.

My dad has a ton of Zappa albums, but my favorite of all time is FREAK OUT! I listened to that album a lot during a hellish freelance project, so I have fond memories.

I haven't had a chance to pick up all the stuff I'm missing because most of the independant/underground music stores here have closed. Also, Frank has a wealth of albums, more than I can afford at the moment.

Goa is Rodak's name in Japanese.

I misplaced my Rodak name and was using Goa as a pseudonym (I don't use my real name online very often).

Goa's page has Rodak in it's URL though...

          See... There's a simple explanation!

          Peace.

Rodak, did I forget to mention you're OLD!?
While I don't like B&W, I'll take a look at it. I won't make any promises to stay through it though.

I thought it was interesting. Zappa is young but has the same voice and mannerisms that I am more used to seeing.

Humor back in the 60's is kind of on the pathetic side though.
