Not total crap. There was Fire Emblem and Paper Mario 2, for example. Though, that's if you liked those games.

The GC hasn't had the best games, nor the most, but it still got playtime. As long as you find al least somthing to play on a system, the system isn't crap.
I think this generation as a whole has sucked badly. I had the most fun with the new systems the two years after they first came out. That alone should tell you something, since traditionaly systems aren't in their prime until their third year.
For as much it gets attacked, I thought the N64 beat out every system released this generation--including the PS2.
The PC as a platform has really matured. PC games are far, far superior to anything released on a console. They have better multiplayer, a more flexable controller, more adaptable gameplay (mods), and unbeatable replayability.
The lifespan of some PC games outlast systems.
While I'm eagerly awaiting Twilight Princess (I was HUGE fan of OoT) the PSP was probably the last system I'll ever buy.
But, the Revolution! It will be something new! Or something!
And I'm too worried about spending too much money to pay enough attention to what's coming out anymore. I know there's been some games that have caught my interest on all three consoles this past year or two, but I couldn't tell you what they were.

The colors of the PS2 RE4 are more reddish than the GameCube version.

If only I owned a 'Cube... I'd definitely pick up Twilight Princess, because Ocarina of Time is my favorite of the series, and it looks like that times 10.
