I recently purchased a used copy of RPG Maker 1 (without the manual unfortunately). Since I had it a while ago, I've remembered a lot about the way it works. It's fun to create my own graphics in Anime Maker again. I seem to remember that there was a certain graphic that would allow the party to walk on areas that were not "walkable." I'm trying to find it, but I can't remember where it is. Does anyone know what I'm even talking about? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks a lot in advance.

Re: Walking on air (using the invisible tile) RPG Maker 1
I think it was through an event, using object 40, color 3 or 4."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Flip through the object graphics in the event mode. If you see a pure white square object, come to a halt. Now, just change the color of the object until you see an invisible square. The invisible square should be walkable. Does that help?

yes you got it. The only delema with this wonderful invisible tile is that because it it an event, other events that are independently moving cannot travel on them(for example a randomly wandering char. or object), unless of course you tell them to specificly go there...Esper Quest
