    Bad Friday.

Well today started as any other friday. Got up and got ready for a slack day at school. Well as i made my way into school my mother and I, whom is a teacher of theatre arts, were stopped by one of the latin teachers. Into their conversation he announced that a friend of mine who was sick with anumeonia(sp?) and in the hospital had passed suddenly around 5am. right as they were waiting for to become stable so they could move her to Duke University Childrens hospital. The entire school was so upset and many are still. I just ask that if any of you are religious in anyway or pray to just keep Miranda Gerkins and her family in your thoughts and prayers. I will admit that it brings tears to my eyes even as i write this that on monday i will know that the healthy 15 year old girl that once sat behind me and i handed tests and papers on back too will never be there. I just ask again to include her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. This do in rememberence of her.

I apologize for the lack of compassion in the above post. Some people just dont have hearts.

I am sorry to hear that. 15 is way too young and sudden to pass.

      Sorry.

God... no... this isn't fair. This is so ****ing sad. She had her whole life ahead of her. May her soul rest in peace.

                    Sorry to hear that.

We had our share of kids dying in my school(3 while I was in school), but two of them under very stupid, irresponsible circumstances(one died in a car crash in bad weather when her mother should have been driving, and one shot himself in the head, in front of his mother, no less, in a drug-addled cluster****. The other one died in a car crash where the one who hit him was a drunk driver).

It's always unfortunate to hear of someone so young die of illness, especially with all of the so-called advances in medicine.

We have WAYYYY to many sad topics on this board, so don't think I think it's not sad, it is, but it also seems like a trend going on the pav.

How can that happen to someone so young?? Please, give my regrets to her family. It's not fair how kids have to go through that kind of suffering. 15 is too young to pass away.
