I have enough money to buy one. And I keep wanting one. But I certainly don't need it and I'd be better off saving the money or devoting it to something more worthwhile. Then again if I don't spend the money on myself most of it will just go to bills and my mother's bad habits. I'd mostly use it for videos. I could watch tv shows while I'm on the bus, that'd be nice. Anyway, you tell me if I should get one. It's up to you guys and gals.

You could invest it in gold. Then it won't be going nowwhere until you cash the gold in. This is also resistant to inflation, unlike the interest rate payed to stored accounts at a bank which is often lower than this country's discount rate(thus your savings in a bank do not keep up with inflation).
I personally think an iPod is a waste of money, but that's just me.
If you want to save your money and not spend it on bills or your mother's bad habits, invest it into something that is stable and unlikely to ever lose value adjusted for inflation.

Im selling my Sony Minidisc Player. I got an ipod for christmas.......
Gets close to 40 hours out of one AA battery, on low volume(im not deaf, so I dont need it cranked way up). The discs say they can only hold 74min of songs, but I can fit 2-3 CDs worth of songs on each disc. And Im giving 5 discs with it.
All for the low, low price of $90. I really want $80, but I tell people $90, so they try to haggle with me, and think they got a deal when I give in for their lower price. Or if they are total panzies, they just pay the $90, and I get $10morethan I wanted.Comment
