With all the Gamestops and EBs and Babbage's(es) around here I never have to preorder anything. I bought the slim PS2 when they came out early like two weeks before they were supposed to. I just walked into each store one by one until one of them said "Yeah, we got one left." I bought RPG Maker 3 first day the same way. The guy was all "Did you preorder?" I said no. He handed me one and said, "Half the preorders don't get it right away anyway. And if they do we'll just grab a copy from one of the other stores." Yay for a skewed Supply/Demand curve! Guess that's why we hardly ever run out of the rarer games like Phoenix Wright.
