I just tried this yesterday with my newly purchased wireless router. If you're wondering why I got one if I have dial-up, I bought it when I was planning to have broadband at the end of last month but it got postponed. Anyway, I couldn't get it to work. I got an error messaging saying that the DS connected to the access point but couldn't connect to the network. No idea why that is.

Have you checked for router compatibility at the official site?

I think it is. It's a D-Link DI-524. I think it's a different version from the ones that are listed though. I think it might be the fact that I can't install the software that came with it. It won't let me since it's not actually connected to broadband.
