In the game I'm currently working on, Sin, I'm having difficulty coming up with weapons. The game is a survival horror and I want to come up with some nifty guns. So far I only have the usual weapons (handgun, shotgun, sub-machinegun.) I would like to come up with some creative, but fitting weapons. The only thing I could think of so far was a Proton Pack, like in Ghostbusters (the enemies are ghosts after all.) I just need some ideas to go by. Thanks for any ideas.

I like to name guns after Women.

But there'a always : Burp Gun, Hot Glue Gun, Nail Gun, Bee Bee Gun (shoots Bees) and many other Pun Guns.

Thanks, you guys for the ideas. I've been having trouble thinking clearly, lately, so that was much appreciated. I just wish more people would have posted some ideas, but you guys have helped with making the creative juices flow. I was able to come up with some neat weapons thanks to the input. I do need a few more weapons so if anyone can just give some weapon names I can do the rest. Once again, thanks.

Electrostatic Frag Machine Gun - Give those ghosts 1000 volts of pure hair-raising fun!

Recoil Rocket Launcher- Large shot, even larger Recoil

Railgun- Uses magnets to fire bullets.

OMGSPLOSION Grenade launcher- Fires REALLY LARGE grenades

Be-Header- Fires small discs that... well... Behead your opponent.

Bomb Vest- Strap this on your opponent and RUN!

Vampire Vaccine Shooter- Weakens vampires enough to be able to be killed.

Succubus Taunting Liquid Spray Cannon- Confuses opponent.

Zombie Vaccine Shooter- see vampire vaccine except for Zombies

Flamethrower- Throws flames, mmm crispy Zombie Ghosts!

Jack-o-lantern Bomb- Sets ememys aflame by throwing a large pumpkin

Grapple Gun- Shoots a sharp grapple outward and pierces opponent, unlimited ammo.

Death-Ray- Large Reload time but immence damage.

How about those ideas?

Flirtation Gun (shoots thousands of batting eyelashes to draw the enemy's attention away from the battle)

Maxi-Grande Excruciatrix (Starbucks-inspired acid shooter)

The Permanentor (Draws a mustache on the enemy with a stream of black permanent marker fluid)

Nochestrella (draws from the energy of the night sky to cause blindness to the enemy)
