VFX Editor Guide 1st Draft Up!

    http://vfxguide.tripod.com/contents.html

I still need to post my third page of the Boobyprize Tutorial. I got this much up and my web connection slowed down so much I could not continue.

This is the pilot run and it will be hosted here by Valkysas (Thank You, Sir!) soon.

Formatting issues are being addressed, but here is a public place to comment.

    Peace.

        Well, I think it's awesome!

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Rodak again.
AGH! It always tells me that. I must only give rep to a couple people...

I must say, this has inspired me again to nab a copy of RPGM2. Then the only problem comes with not having the time to sit down and use it to a meaningful degree.

Your guide has probably curbed the learning process for whenever I do decide to work with it.

Considering I've already seen guns, fighter planes, motorcycles, and even complete characters. This is just icing on the cake. But damn is that good icing. That campfire is pretty danged nice.

              Thanks!

I wanted to start with the basics so people can actually do things.

There will be far more advanced stuff soon.

But the most time consuming part is over... all those animated gifs for every animated thingy...

              And for demonstrating tutorials

Now I can focus on the real work!

              Peace.

That's a lot to read through! My eyes are too tired to go through this now. But I'll try to find some time to look through it tomorrow and give some feedback. But I've got to say, this looks very impressive. At the very least, it shows all the various VFX (I assume it shows all of them -- I just looked at the first few).
