I'll probably stay with XP until the last possible minute, but Vista sounds good, and i'll be doing a MAJOR upgrade to my PC next week, so i'll be able to run it just fine, i just dont want to deal with all the hassles that installing a new OS involves...hell, i'm gonna have to reinstall Windows when i upgrade, which is gonna be a @#$@% in and of itself, but it will be worth it.

I think Vista is all beauty renovations. The only mechanical feature I like it for is faster desktop searches.

I wouldn't want XP if I could use '98. It's also bad enough for me that the ASF/WMV format's stupidly locked up, not to mention other formats look better. Like the 360, there's no need to buy Vista.

Actually I'd be more than happy if somebody'd spring for a few months of DSL for me. Having dialup is very much like not having internet access at all.
