SoB!!! Anyone who can help with the HDD for PS2?

OK, I played through RPGMaker1 and when I saw 3 was comming out I went and bought a PS2 with a Hard Disk Drive so I wouldn't have to worry about the Memory Card(s) being too small to save my games on.

THE PROBLEM:

How do I save my changes to the HDD? THe instructions say I have to upload the files (which I did) and that I should then be able to play with the game from the HDD, however, I try to do this and it says 'insert disk' and if I just play from the disk it recognizes that the files are uploaded, however, it still wants me to save to a memory card! WTF!!!


ANYBODY, with ANYTHING that could help me out, please let me know!

You just did the WRONG thing. You bought the HDD before knowing its use with RPG Maker 3, bad bad move. Here's the bad news.

You cannot save to and load directly from the HDD.

The HDD only hastens load times. Sorry. You can however, back them up onto the HDD.
