I hope some of you caught this last night. Generally I'm ambivalent about Inside the Actor's Studio but this one was exceptional. If you're a fan of Chappelle, or just interested in some good insight into how a creative mind works, I highly recommend you watch this.

Martin Lawrence is a huge role model as an actor and comedian to the black community.

It has nothing to do with taste.

Martin Lawrence was really popular in the early 90's between his stand up and his sitcom.

And he's made many successful films since then.

There are very few comedic black role models that consistently get work in the hollywood and regardless of your opinion of him, he is important in the black community as a whole.
