We recently found out that one of the former pavilion webmasters, Angelsboi died in June 2004. PandaMoe found his livejournal (http://angelsboi.livejournal.com/) that confirmed it.

I am at a loss for words right now. I want to say something, but I just cant think right now. We lost a valued member of this community and didnt even know about it for two years.

Just.. thought you guys would want to know.

When I first started posting regularly in January of 2001, I was, through my ignorance, taken a little back by Angelsboi.

Thankfully that came and went, and though I found out his was ill with AIDS through a few random IMs we had around late 03, it is still a little surreal to note that he has passed.

That's pretty nuts. Angelsboi was the one who originally put up my game in the old pavilion. I remember some weird chats with him in the old imageboard chat room. Interesting dude. Nice guy though. I'm surprised the virus did him in so quickly... I wonder if he found out about having the virus too late or something.

:(

RIP Angesboi/Ryan

That is sad.

I did not know him, but when you find out so long after the fact that someone you knew well died it has a different impact than finding out in a timely manner.

Condolences.

I remember he used to come to the old drawing board the first couple months I came to the pavilion, I never really talked to him.

Thats all I got to share with you guys.

I remember his name, but didn't get a chance to talk with him. It is sad nonetheless; just knowing that he has been gone for 2 years without us knowing about it upsets me. But what do you expect, he was only known through the internet here (to my knowledge).

I remember this person, from when I used to first lurk here.

I offer my condolences to those who knew him and had that long stretch of time not knowing of what had happened. It's like a freaking train sidewiping your mind.:\

Just reading a few entries... made me well up some.

Valentines Day just plain sucks, All the horrible things(or announcements of the horrible things) seems to happen on V-Day.

Plus I dont trust the notion of "Love" anymore than a hippo can dance.

Yeah, people dying is tragic, but look on the bright side... What is that again?

I am never good at these things, but I do remember all the times he posted, and how he helped get the games on the site.

It is a shame to hear about it.

Since I've been around shorter than any of the other admins, I've never really known the gentleman. It's a shame, indeed. But what can you do?

Wish him the best, that's what.

I remember when I was a noob, seeing him around the site. I didn't know him at all, but for the people here who did, I completely understand how you feel.

My condolences.

I only remember him very vaguely, but it's always bad when you hear of something like this. My condolences to his family and friends.

Sine i don't know him and am still new here.

That's really is horrible to have a good pavilion member here pass away many years ago without none of the veterans here know about it.

I come back after a three week absence and find this... :(

I was just pondering what Angelsboi had been up to last week. He will be missed. I had a lot of interesting discussions with him back in 2000 in the old chatroom. Now I wish I had saved them.
