Re: Valk...
Wow, that's pretty cool. Too bad scientists have yet to make a robot that can walk without shuffling."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

We invented pizza-for-breakfast, if that makes you feel better."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Re: Valk...
By discover I ment utilize effectively. I dont think The Magnet (as far as my knowledge goes) was really a discovery of electrical phenomina but people thought it was during that time.
As for the automobile, I am suprised, I guess I learn somthing new every day. Not only because I am wrong but because Karl Benz (a german engineer) gets credit on the first automobile.
For the atomic bomb, if it was made in america, no matter who made it, it's american. That's my story and I am sticking to it.
I blame American Public Education.
Oh but I am 99% sure the Wright Brothers invented the first successful airplane. (not including the glider) And also 99% sure American where first to go to the moon.Last edited by Red Dragon; 02-10-2006, 12:59 AM.

Re: Valk...
America was the first to mass produce automobiles... or at least I'm pretty sure of this. It could be that Ford was the first to make them mass produced in the US. I sometimes get things mixed up.Originally posted by GluémeJoseph Cugnot (of France) invented the first automobile in 1769, Dr William Gilbert "discovered" electricity
around 1600 and (to be fair) most of the scientists that worked on the atomic bomb were foreigners.I had to change accounts. I'm here now - http://www.pavilionboards.com/forum/member.php?u=1475
