    The Hills are ablaze

So, being Southern California and stuff, our winter means 80+ degree weather, dry winds, and fires. Right now, the neighborhood above me has been evacuated, and several schools aren't in session. The ash in the air is terrible, and the sun can't be seen until about noon. I'm really not too worried, but this could be one hell of a disaster if they don't contain them soon (there's actually two fires coming in this direction).

Earthquakes, mudslides, fires, tsunamis...California is pretty disaster-prone. I hope you escape this one unscathed, Smurf.

Oklahoma has been suffering massive wildfires, most of them caused by cigarette butts tossed out car windows. One was actually a mile from where I live, but it was contained and ended before it had a chance to spread any further than about an acre.

Kinda scary, but at the same time, people are irresponsible.

No real natural disaster has ever hit San Antonio, minus a few floods (98,04). Its nice here, but hot as heck.

I see your wildfires and mudslides, and raise you a few tornados.

If you were Paul Bunyan you could just lasso that tornado and then, I duno, herd it or something. I think.

As of today at about noon it looks like they've contained the one closer to my house, but the other farther one has gotten worse. Give and take I guess?

Also, our school was on lockdown today for a threat or something. I didn't get lunch.

Over here in western canada, I dont think we've had any natural disasters, except for a small earthquake(was in california, but we felt it up here), and mabye the occasional blizzard, or very small flood that happens every couple of years.

                      Yay Canada, EH.
