Libra In Red's Art Thread

I have some new art I wanted to show, so I'm making my own thread here (if it's okay) to show it off. My scanner is currently AWOL, so I used a digital camera to do this. These are characters from a Serenity RPG campain, the first one is a paralyzed pilot named Mae'Lin and the second is our crazy mechanic Anu'Neith.

Hmnn....well, if the equiptment is there...

Naw, I'm actually quite proud of these two (and thanks for the compliments so far). I'm a bit self-concious of my art recently because I am experimenting with a newer style that is more realistic and less anime then I use to do. I'm going to have more coming, so hopefully you guys'll like what I have! (hmnn...nudity...maybe...))

(and yes, I am very familiar with Xenogears art. I've been fairly attracted to it for a while, and have had a bit of influence from it.)

I noticed the influence of Kunihiko Tanaka. The Xenogears Perfect Works book was my bible for a long, long time. Did you see the Serenity Visual Companion book?

I'm also trying to stray from the manga style as impossible as that sounds. Bruce Timm and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto are my main men.

Thanks to everyone. Currently I am having issues with my computer, and I don't have a program to color with, but I'll try and get my more recent pictures up as soon as I can!
