Anyone played Persona?

I'm thinking of buying the PS1 game Persona. I own Persona 2, and loving it, but I'm not sure about Persona. Anyone that has played or owned this game, how is it?

Good story, but it runs into the whole endless dungeon, save points far from each other, and a confusing Persona system.

But I recomend it if you liked the 2nd one, since it will explain about some of the characters in the 2nd.

you might as well if you like the 2nd.

The second is actually one of two games, meaning the 2nd game is actually two parst.

I imported the first part but never got around to playing it.

Hmm... I think I have the 2nd part of Persona 2. Dark Jester, that clears somethings up. Now I know why I saw two different Persona 2's while I was on the internet a while back. I guess I'll have to try and get that one too.

If you've got a PSP and you're patient, the U.S release of a remake of the original Persona will be available via Atlus in about a year.
