    Video Game Violence

Not the kind you see in GTA, but rather I'm talking about games which are so frustrating/stupid/horrible that they drive you to outbursts of violence.

Some of my examples, starting with most recent:

~Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, GBA - I just broke my GBA last night because of that frustrating, unbalanced game. Symphony of the Night, it definitely ain't.

~Monster Rancher 3(sorry, RPGD), PS2 - I got pretty violent when I kept missing the other monster, that was before I learned about Guts and the like. I still ahve the game, it's fine. Just some controller casualties.

~WWF No Mercy, N64 - Three on one is no fun. I got so angry I was driven to temporary insanity when I destroyed the cartridge, even went nuts on my N64 with the claw end of a hammer... (My N64 still works, though!)

I'm not a very violent gamer, I just get really pissed off and go do something else. My bro's use to always throw the controllers.

However I heard Doyleman has a bit of a temper. Broke his first copy of RPGM2 into 23,769 pieces, then buried in a grave... Don't **** him off lol
Everything is a Riemann sum of a lot of nothing.

I can't tell you how many times I've gone down to the wire only to miss in MR3.

I don't understand your giant breasted girls, but that doesn't stop me from liking them.

I was close to throwing my controller when I couldn't beat Bison in Street Figther for the SNES.

I still get frustrated and angry when I play Halo 2, but that is because of the mass of idiots.

Getting ganked in WoW. I generally just yell obscenities.

When I was 10 or so, I had Street Fighter II for Genesis, and I one time snapped a controller in half and put a hole in the side of my TV because of Bison.

                Bison.

                God damn him.

I eventually beat him and never touched the cartridge again.

Man, Street Fighter 2 drove me nuts! I used to throw tantrums so bad that my parents wanted to take me to a shrink!

                  ****ing Ken...

                    Re: Video Game Violence

I would say that the last time I threw a tantrum over a video game was during Final Fantasy VII, during the undersea factory mission when you fight that goofy-looking robot with gigantically long arms that can pluck your party members from battle for a little while and smash them against each other.

What rankled me was that when I'd get his arms destroyed, he got like a thousand attacks and I couldn't do anything before my whole party died.

Of course, this was when it first came out and I was perhaps 13 or 14.

Jax II. That game drove me nuts. But I slogged my way through it. Came close to chucking my controller a few times. Then I got Jax III and was really disapointed that it wasn't as hard.

I have to say Street Fighter II on SNES was the last fighter where I thought I had a pretty firm handle on it. Since then I've had no illusions about my mad skillz when it comes to the genre. Soul Calibur III, specifically the chronicles mode, sets my blood on fire, but when I chuck the controller, I throw it at something soft. Even so, there are times I just can't stop playing it.

I don't understand how a video game could make someone so angry that he/she(probably a he, who am I kidding) distroys their own property? Some of the NES games used to bug me, You know, all the ones where you can't save. Astyanax comes to mind.

Hey, I know a girl who destroyed a controller while playing some game on Playstation.

                            That's right. I know a girl.

video games are like women. shouldn't get violent no matter how much they **** you off.

i get mad at games. but i have, to my knowledge, never crushed or destroyed any part of them in anger. however if i had fifty controllers for each console, that'd be alot of fun. "damn you mario!" *snap*
