Chat room? What chat room?

So I remember the time when Valk said the chat room was up and running, just click the chat room link on the main page and BAM... unfortunately for mwa, the BAM isn't happening. I click on the link and it takes me to a page which has the navigation links on the left and my User CP box on the upper right.
Am I cursed to never chat with the Pavilionites or is this fixable?
Help!

the chat room is disabled for everyone. has been since january 2nd.

really? oh... wow, I didn't know that. Sorry! Guess that answers my question. Can I ask why it's been disabled? I thought it was put back up.

I'll just say that its been disabled because there was a really big problem with it.
