Gah, Mozart's always been too giddy and lame for me, minus a few pieces. I don't enjoy playing most Mozart. But he lived a pretty sweet life.
This is true: when he was young, a doctor came in to verify that Mozart was an actual harpsichord and violin prodigy, and not just a very talented midget.

At 8 PM [German City where Mozart was born] time the rang the bells in EVERY church in town! This was allegedly the exact minute of Mozart's birth.

That was 2 PM this afternoon.
