Demon Controlled Mouse

My mouse has started moving on its own. It does this usually once ever 2 minutes or so. I've tried un-installing and re-installing the drivers. No dice.

Any suggestions?

Is the mouse wireless? Because another device in your house could be messing it up.

It's not wireless, its wired. And I checked the cable already.

Is it one of those that uses a laser instead of a track ball? I have one and the pointer goes wonky now and then. I figured the laser must have hit some dust speck on the mousepad or something.

Mine uses a track ball, it goes wonky now and then as well.
