    Electroplankton Compositions

    http://s35.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2...B0NFS99ICSESE6

Here are two compositions I made on EP. 25 Downloads, I think. First come first serve.

They're not perfect and there’re a couple audible pops that must've happened while recording. Ohswell.
These are "live performances", not altered in any way, straight from the DS into the PC. Even the fade-outs were simulated with the volume slider.

Maybe it'll encourage other people to start composing with their DSs. *stares at gray*

They had a pile in my EB. Haven't been there for a week, though.

              That's pretty cool, Gus.

I had an idea to do PictoChat art and take pics of that but my hand is much, much too huge.

                  Re: Electroplankton Compositions

I got this game today, I played it for ten minutes. It seems really chaotic, I don't feel like I have much control. I also thought there was going to be some form of musical notation involved, and there doesn't seem to be, I know that they don't expect everyone who plays this to have perfect pitch so what gives? You can do fade-outs with volume control, I'll remember that one.

It's seems like theres only one other person with the game, I want to know something:

.How did you download those songs from your DS? I can think of several ways you could have done that but I just wanna know now and get it out of the way?

.Did you add your own vocals or were you just pushing the directional buttons? That would be cool if you could add you own vocals?

                  I got mine at EB.

                    Re: Electroplankton Compositions

I was concerned I wouldn't like it so much when I first bought it, but then I tried it longer, experimenting, to find which plankton were my favorite and how to get sounds I liked. Soon I was making stuff that sound like music, fairly easily!

It's great for relieving stress, I think. My favorite plankton are Falcatos. (Sun-Animalcule, then wait for it to change to night.)

The Code was done on Beatnes with BGM 4 (press select thrice).

And here's the trick for recording: you need one long standard stereo cable (stereo plugs on each end), and a Y stereo adapter. You'll need the Y-adapter so you'll have a set of ear phones to hear what you're doing, and the other is for the stereo cable which goes into your PC's micro phone or audio in port. Then use a audio editing program, though I think Microsoft sound recorder works well, and begin recording.

I think this game would be good for anyone who drinks large amounts of cough syrup.
