Try using unexpected sources.

I recently got a bunch of names from The PDR (Physicians Desk Reference).

You'd be surprised how many pharmaceuticals sound like cool names.

Give it a try! The Book, not the pharmaceuticals.

I will always hit this site. www.behindthename.com or www.babynames.com

That or go to altavista.babelfish.com and type in some random word and translate it into the romanization of another language.

If not using babynames.com, I generally just randomly string letters together to make a name. Ahek. Teone. Gusina. Canena. Eritn. Weel. Oisi. There's a few.

I've gotten on a kick where I stopped just making up names. I have a lot that I stick with, but mostly I'll use behindthename.com for all my naming needs.
