Giant robots aren't to be feared so long as they require a guy in a colorful spandex suit to sit inside and narrate the battle. It's when you give those damn dirty roboapes intelligence of their own that they rebel against us.

Of course, I have been a fan of the Toei Spidey for years... It can't compare to their earlier stuff like Jonny Sokko and his Giant Robot, but it was great fun.

I have about 6 hours of the show in the original Japanese.

I gotta get the software for the downloads someday...

WTF? There was nothing about this at the Toei museum!

Man, the Japanese love gawking up in the sky at things as much as they love giant robots.

Geez, they don't waste any time. This is a lot more fun to watch than, say... all contemporary Japanese television.
