    Password, um...... different

I was copying my game on RPG Maker 1 that I am working on over to another memory card. When I was finished I went ahead and deleted it from the old one. Why, because I was borrowing my brothers memory card untill I made room on mine to make my game.

My password is no longer what it use to be. I can no longer get into my system file. However my Scenario still works with it's password. Any ideas on what I can do? I really don't want to go make everything I had so far, again.

That sucks, didn't you write your password down on paper? I'm sorry, I don't know what you can do. This never happened to me.

No, the password is way to obvious for me to have to write it down. It changed itself somehow. Or it is just completely messed up.

I doubt writing the password down makes any difference when it suddenly decides it doesn't want to work.

        EDIT: Simul-post.

          I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking clearing.

Maybe you can contact Valhalla somehow. That topic was created quite awhile back, but I don't know, maybe you can PM Valhalla.

EDIT: Actually contacting Valk might help.

EDIT2: Oh, I see that you've posted in that topic awhile back.

try every combination it could be, perhaps your imput the password wrong so its a single value off, such as directional up is right or triangle is square. i find i often make mistakes like these, so i stoped using passwords all together to save long amounts of time and grief.

Thank you Ωbright for the sig fix!
Card Three is released! You can find it here!

I never really saw the need for passwords on RPGM data.

So annoying little brothers don't go in and ruin your data?

I had used the same password many times to get back in. I also tried to input it about 100 times and copied it to many different memory cards to try and get it to work. I have emailed valhalla and hopefully he can help with his password thing.

Wasn't there a program for getting your password?

                      Re: Password, um...... different

Personally the only time I'd ever put a password in my game is when I release a demo and when I release the final game. When it's still in development, I leave the password option alone. Too easy to forget/lose your password like that.
