I tried taking the igloo away, and he started tearing the carpet up.
I wish there was a way to keep him in his cage, but he's capable of tearing the thing apart if he's shut in it.

Every time my parakeet has a nightmare I have to stay up with him with the lights on until he settles down, otherwise he just spends the entire night flapping crazily in his cage.

My snake sometimes bangs the cage lid up and down. Letting him loose on his own solves that. He'll usually stay out for a few hours before crawling back in on his own.
