Yeeha. I'm starting my "We Built This City on Rock and Roll" contest entry, and was wondering if any of the artists out there would be kind enough to make some sprites of the Jefferson Starship group members. If not, does anyone know of any 80's sprites already out there?

Also, Valk, if someone IS willing to make these, I was wondering if I could get an extention so that the artist would have time to get them all done.

I've had a lot of requests for extensions on this one. so I'm going to extend it. expect an announcement tomorrow.

hopefully this contest has a turnout that makes the extension worthwhile.

Well, I dunno what the reaction to this one will be, because if I go ahead with what I'm planning, it's going to be entirely mini-games and puzzles. Hopefully it'll be a nice change of pace at least.

Vonwert, I played your contest 2 game. Pretty fun! I picked the right person, but Detectve Lavare's reasoning behind it was better than my own. But yeah, nice and short with no battles is the way to go.

You might want to add a little more to the "We Built this City" theme, though. It seems like you had a completed game, and then just added one line to make it a valid contest entry.

Hehe, that was sorta what happen. :)

I had the story for it on paper and wanted to get back into rpgm. But oh well, it didn't take long to make and was pretty fun.

kickass. thanks a lot dk. :) i'm not exactly sure what i need yet, but one i know that i'd like is the lead male singer of the band (check the video in the contest #2 topic). The rest depends on how many character slots i use for custom tiles.

But by the time that "i may be able to help" becomes "i will be able to help", maybe i'll have a better idea.
