Crunk helped me do pretty much every 3 star quest except for a couple I already did. The dreaded Powderstone is the only thing standing between me and the Lao urgent. Is anyone gonna be on tomorrow night for Powder and Lao? I've been waiting a good while for HR13 to get my Pimp Hat, but the lack of playing was a pretty big blockade. And my lack of all the items needed, but still.

I'll help you do Powderstone tonight as long as we fight Lao.

So the rumors were true... promises of Lao really ARE the only thing that people will do Powderstone for.

Yeah, i'll be about 1:00-1:30 AM EST I imagine? That's about what time you posted last night when you said you were too late. (1:07 AM EST by my clock). I can be on by 1:00 AM EST though if that's when you two will be on. Gonna go play FFXI with friends, I'll check this topic again later. Just lemme know.

Only got 5 carves, but one of them was Lao-Shan Claw. From what I can read, it's only used for the Dragon Destroyer, and upgrading to the Dragon Breaker. A total of 3 claws is needed to complete it, so I'm guessing I'm lucky since they're the only 3 claws I'll ever need?

I love this game but havent been playing it recently because my internet is gone from my PS2 (ie my router and PS2 are in different rooms.)

I did the offline Gravios, ***** took me 25-30 minutes WITH the Dragon Destroyer. I think I may have played a little too defensive.

Afterwards I tried "Handle With Care." ...


Then I went and killed Diablos.

And after that, I tried "Handle With Care" again. ...


And I'm pretty sure one of you is going to ask, no I didn't try killing Gravios. He takes me too long to kill. I can sneak by old Grav just fine... but those DAMN raptors in Area 4 get me EVERY TIME. I HATE those egg carrying quests. HATE. But I'll never get TP unless I do that.

I'll figure something out I hope. Still got Khezu and Handle with Care. Maybe I'll give Khezu a shot.

On a second note, probably not worth double posting for but still:

I did the Quartz Ore trick and got 2 Novacrystals. Then I did one more Velociprey Hunt and got a Guild Ticket. I had 48,000z. Needless to say, after selling about 50,000 worth of wyvern materials, I cleared 2 Novacrystals, 1 Guild Ticket, 3 Jewel Tickets, and 5 Egg Tickets out of my inventory and spent 98,000. I am now officially broke. BUT WHO CARES?

I've been wanting to get back into this off and on. The next armor I want (vespoid armor for gunner) is gonna be a lot of time and work though.

And I feel really lazy too, cuz I'm only HR6.

Gunning is only good if you carry nothing but support shots. If you try and be offensive, no matter what, you will be doing WAY less damage than the people carrying weapons.

Just stunning enemies, healing/powershot/armorshot'ing your allies, and hitting things out fo the air are the only real advantages to being a gunner.

Oh trust me, I carry as many types as I can. My good shots just knock everyone else to the ground so I get no real chance to use the offensive bullets. Plus I know damage-wise I can't compete with the other weapons, I just like to attack from a range.

But for farming the items from vespoids for example, i can only carry 12 shots of poison. Kinda hard to kill them normally without exploding.
