    Golden Globes

    YES!!!!!!!

Phillip Semore Hoffman TOTALY deserved to win for Capote. I was sure Heath Ledger was gunna win for Eatin' Puddin: The Movie. I am estaticly surprised. Seriously. Everyone who hasn't needs to see Capote. Genius.

Oh. And Lost won for best TV drama. Yay Globes!

Yeah, I was pleased. Philip Seymour Hoffman couldn't be robbed by a Brother Grimm. Capote is fantastic. Brokeback Mountain is GROSSLY OVERRATED. Dennis Quaid put it best.

Oh, if anyone's curious, my last two choices for best 2005 flicks are A History of Violence and Advent Children.

Nah. I've come to accept the fact that I live in a world that everyone loves Walk the Line for reasons I just can't fathom.

              I've yet to see it.

And I definitely see Brokeback's appeal but MAN. It's been done to death, it's the most common story. Ever.

Except with gay dudes. It's a CHICK FLICK. Quit rewarding a chick flick.

Someone told me Jarhead was "manly" and all I could do was snicker.

Well it certainly was full of men.

And Advent Children shouldn't be anywhere near the words "best" and "2005".

Have you forgotten that Mora hates Advent Children for the very same reasons so many others, Magus included, love it?

Yeah, it's eye candy, but c'mon. That doesn't make it great. It makes it mediocre.

why'd you bring Advent Children up, though? was it mentioned on the award show?
