    PS2 USB keyboard.....I wonder

well, I was looking for stuff in ebay for my pc ( I need a new keyboard ), and I found this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

It's supposed to be some sort of keyboard fpr the pc, and I was wondering if that ought to help in Rpg maker 3, since typing there takes up a whole lot of time, and it's very tedious. So I'm if anybody knows if Rpg maker 3 is compatible with USB keyboard, or if I could use this one. Thanks in advance.

*Edit* How stupid of ebay not to let me link to their $***, well if somebody really wants to help please do this:

    1. go to ebay.com
2.type USB keyboard ps2 under all categories
3.It's the 8th item going down ( there are a lot more i just found this one interesting )

Please help me guys i beg you, i'm sick and tired of having to type on-screen!!

I wouldn't waste your money. Go to Best Buy or the computer store of your choice, and buy the cheapest USB keyboard they have. It will work. I currently am working with a Viewsonic keyboard, and I have a sneaky suspicion that if you actually just buy a USB adapter for the keyboard, you can use a regular, generic keyboard and do it that way. Don't go the way of e-bay, you'll just waste your money.

I'd recommand the Logitech keyboard controller over THAT.

One day I went to gamestop, and I saw the controler with the "keyboard" in it, i'm supposing that's the logitec, and I thought it looked interesting. Back there, I still hadn't bought rpg maker 3, so I just left it there. I don not have a car, and nor do I know where best buy is, so I guess I'll have to go for the controller, anyboby who can tell me how bad or good this controller works?. Thanks for all of you who replied.

Edit= I just went downstairs to the basement, and started looking for a spare keyboard, which I was sure I had, and I was right. I have two keyboards locked up down there, and it would be nice if I could use them for something. So any information on the USB adapter would be highly appreciated, In the meanwhile, I'll go to google, to see if I can find something about it....

Edit *again* Like I said, I went to google and found something

            http://p068.ezboard.com/fagetecfrm47...picID=62.topic

From what it says there, I can use either the logitec controller, or a USB adaptor and a regular keyboard, The problem is, that I can go buy the controller right know ( assuming it's still there ), or I could wait like a week to get my USB adaptor shipped from e-bay ( unless they sell those somewhere around here ), so I still want to know which is/would be better. Arigato!

              Re: PS2 USB keyboard.....I wonder

the logitec netplay controller is what I use, and I absolutely love it. its a damn-near full size keyboard between two halves on a controller. the keyboard is even removable from the controller. unfortunately, its not cheap at all.

there are other controllers with mini keypads on them, and they suck.

you have a lot of options. USB adapter for an existing keyboard, a new USB keyboard that will run around 10 dollars, or the logitec netplay controller.

Yeah, now I remember the name! That was a great controller. You can get them off ebay for about $20 I believe.

                  Re: PS2 USB keyboard.....I wonder

Thanks everybody!. Yesterday I went to circuit City, I thought I might find something, and I looked for about an hour in the whole store, ans I couldn't find an affordable USB keyboard for my ps2, they where all like $70-80................ , so I just bought the USB adaptor, and I'm currently using one of my old keyboards to type, and it feels so much better,, now I can reduce the amount typing. ( Oh yeah, I forgot, I went to gamestop and they had already bought the logitec controller... )
Thanks for all of you who helped me!
