    Rev controller copycat for PS2

SplitFish GameWare DualFX: the poor man's Revolution preview
SplitFish GameWare showed off a truly funky PlayStation 2 controller that feels more than a little like the mysterious Nintendo Revolution controller. The DualFX Controller is a two-piece PS2 controller with tethered halves: a gun trigger and an odd laser movement system. The left half of the controller is a fairly average analog stick with a D-pad and shoulder buttons, similar to the left side of a standard PS2 controller. The right half, however, is a gunlike device with a laser pointer. The laser tracks movement in the controller and lets players actively aim in first-person shooters. The laser system proved very inconsistent in hands-on tests, but it is, at the very least, an interesting approach. The DualFX will start shipping in March and will cost about $60.
I hope it's similar enough for Nintendo to be able to sue them. Well it certainly doesn't look similar. UGLY!

And people say Nintendo is paranoid.

They're right. And this is one reason why Nintendo is.

I played jarassic park once in the arcade with the gun cons, and the laser point was off, like 5 inches to the right of where I was aiming, it ****ed me off. If the gun system was somewhat faulty, their degrading themselves by sending that piece of crap to the buyers, good idea though....
      too bad it sucks.

Who thinks a gold controller would appeal to anyone?

Looks like it's a ***** to use anyway, which I think may also be the case for the Revolution controler, too. But this isn't even worth it.

Nintendo has nothing to worry about from second-rate third-party hardware companies. I'll take the plain old PS2 controller over anything these guys will put out.

                    I would buy it.

I like and want to try the revolution controller, I like my PS2. Everybody is happy.

It's not like Nintendo is even going to lose any money from this.

I would put them both in a room with a tv, gamecube, and Ps2 then let them fight it out

How are you supposed to hit the D-pad with that controller without accidentally moving the left analog stick?
