Our newspaper pulled a ****ing 'Dewey defeats Truman' and wrote right on the front page, "12 found alive". What a bunch of tards.

That is very very screwed up. I saw on MSNBC on the bottom around 10 o'clock last night that only one minor had died and they were working on trying to get the remaining out. That is gonna spark some **** with someone and its not gonna be pretty. I feel for the families, and will keep them in my prayers.

anyway, i went to bed last night after catching "early reports" that they had been found alive, and footage of the happy relatives. i felt that it would probably prove untrue, so the reversal dosn't surprise me. very sad though.

I was watching Jay Leno when a text scroll appeared on the bottom of the screen stating that the miners were alive. I switched to MSNBC to see the families celebrating. I worked on my essay and a few hours later, around 1:45AM, came the news that it was a mistake.

That sucks.

My newspaper also has the misprint on the front page.

Now it's time for something obvious. This whole thing is going to get stupid, fingers will be pointed, and people will make speculations it's trend I've noticed about various tradegys that come along.

I hope the guy that made it out alive pulls threw; probably will.
