Eve of Emotion (Final Version) (Permanent Host!)

Eve of Emotion was completed quite some time ago. Here is a new and improved, hopefully fast link to the game:

    http://gamemakergames.com/?a=view&id=3621

(Downloads are limited to a certain number, not sure how many that is, though).

Since my previous EOE beta topic, Eve of Emotion has undergone three revisions from when the final version was released some time ago. However, you wouldn't know it was released because my hosting was cancelled. Basically after I released the final version, some more bugs were found.

Revision 3, which is the one you'd be downloading from this link, has all known bugs fixed and no more have been found yet, and I am hard pressed to find anything wrong with it. I went through the game from beginning to end several more times since.

Before playing keep in mind that this is not "Game of the year" material. Its not going to win any awards, but I tried my best to create a good game. Some of you will like it, others won't.

Do you have non-microsoft drivers installed and a vide card capable of 2D hardware acceleration?

          yes.

after a few tries, it finally started okay.

that intro is way too long, and very boring. just watching the ship go up and down, up and down...

I died pretty soon after the game started. next time I'll try a different class, or mode, or whatever. part of what makes it so hard is that the enemies can move and attack diagonally, but Eve can't.

The only point of the intro is the credits, but noted nonetheless.

But yeah you should choose a different class, some are easy, some aren't. Also, keep in mind you can save at the ship in the forest, and it restores HP, but can only be used three times. Just inspect it twice. That may make it easier.

I will try to download this game once I'm on my computer. I've been looking forward to it so I'll try as soon as I can. I will keep an eye out for any bugs and tell you what I can.
