yeah. every once in a while something in my life comes along and reminds me how odd I am.

Tonight's example? The most recent transformers series has come to an end, and it's confirmed there wont be another series until late 2007 at the earliest.

and this has me really, really, really upset. not to the point of crying, but very upset all the same.

yeah, back in the 90's. the gap between the original series ending and beast wars was a bit over 6 years. there's never been more than a year between series in japan though.

This has me upset mostly because it was Gonzo's first run with the series, and they are the first (well, aside from Mainframe's run on Beast Wars) to treat it like an actual anime, rather than a kids show that's only goal is to sell toys.

No. thank god. the only way gonzo would agree to do the series was if they could do a fresh start, and not use any existing characters. hasbro changed that a bit when they dubbed the series, but they fortunately couldnt add in any people that werent there before.

Beast Wars was endearing. And the series Beast Machines (I think it was called) I enjoyed too, even though it was short and waay too emotional and hokey at times.

That episode where we realized that Rhinox had been turned into a war tank and turned sides was my favorite part.

even without knowing what it is, I can safely say that I already have it. I have every (non-comic) transformers book ever published in the US, including retarded coloring books.

I can't sleep because I'm still on a sugar buzz from earlier today. krogers clearanced out all their holiday boxes of chocolates, and I bought a bunch (a dollar for a box of 48? okay!). in addition to the sugar rush, I'm also incredibly ill from it.

I just plain can't sleep. My sleep schedule's way off thanks to holidays, and I'm dreading the 15+ hour work day I'm being put through tommorrow/today.
