I recently went to the mall and bought it new for $29.99, isn't it suppose to be 49.99? Well, I'm not going to complain about getting it for cheap (that wouldn't be very smart.) I haven't had the chance to play it yet, so is it any good?

Re: Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
I heard that it's better than Warrior Within, but...
Why a triolgy? Sands of Time's narative is got perfict and it removes a lot of room for a sequel to work in. Warrior felt like a different series with a different lead character. The prince in Warrior is not the same guy as the one in Sands. I love sands. It's an amazing game. Especialy the way it's told. Warrior ruined that. And though Throwns is suposted to be better gameplay wise, it looks like it's still folowing the track that Warrior layed down, narative wise.
That will not do.

Re: Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
I borrowed Two Thrones and just started playing it. It's a lot of fun. It feels a bit like God of War (especially because of the Daggertail) but PoP focuses on the environment puzzles instead of the combat. I'm not sure if I like it as much as GoW but the point is they're both kick ass. I rented Sands of Time a while back but sucked at it so I didn't like it. I don't know if Thrones is easier or I'm just being less stupid this time around. Since this is the end of the PoP trilogy I guess the Prince will be handing off the torch to Altair in Assassin's Creed which should be amazing also.I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

Re: Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
That was the point. In Sands, he was young and naive, in Warrior he's out for blood to prevent his own death.Originally posted by Loki View PostWarrior felt like a different series with a different lead character. The prince in Warrior is not the same guy as the one in Sands.
Once things got settled there (Warrior's "GOOD" ending), Two Thrones was more like the prince from Sands, only a bit wiser of what he's done and needs to do.Last edited by Goufunaki; 01-07-2007, 09:42 PM.

Re: Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
Oh my! I never expected to see this topic again!

Anyways, I enjoyed the game, but I just wish that YOU could transform into Dark Prince, rather than the game doing it at different points. That would have been really sweet.Last edited by Jamos; 01-08-2007, 03:39 AM.PSN: KingJamos

That's the dumbest thing I've ever read.Originally posted by John Mora View PostWhy should I play this when I have ICO?
Why are you comparing this game to ICO? Are they really that much alike?
I guess I shouldn't buy Mario Kart double dash because I got mario kart 64.
Dumb.Last edited by Caciss; 01-08-2007, 05:57 AM.

Re: Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
Finally finished it. Great game especially that trippy last part, right up there with God of War and the Legacy of Kain series for best action adventures. Oddly it was the new stuff added to this installment that were least enjoyable, the chariot races were fun but frustrating since even the slightest mistake meant death and rewind and it was idiotic for the Dark Prince to lose health constantly. The only thing he added to the gameplay was the Daggertail which could've just as easily been used by the regular Prince. I need to get the first two games now, the trailers for them were good. Does Warrior Within really have semi-explicit sex scenes?I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

Re: Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
Mora, these games' gameplay are COMPLETELY different. Otherwise, I wouldn't love the PoP series and think Ico is overrated. Sheez. Why should I play this when I have ICO?
Warrior within is awesome, no sex scenes though. Good call on the series being up there with LoK and GoW. Now we just have to wait for GoW2 in March.
