Four RCMP officers were shot dead with high-powered rifle yesterday.

All they were doing was investigating a site where marijuana was being illegally grown. It's disgusting. How can people do this to other human beings?

This is the highest amount of RCMP casualties in 120 years and it happened about an hour from where we live.
The system failed us big time, by all rights that guy should have still been in some institution or another.

Legalize it, and idiots like the ones that shot these guys will have no incentive to grow it if they cannot make a profit on it. The problems the drug causes are mostly political in nature. This is indeed very sad. Another casualty caused by the 'war on drugs'.

Pots addiction capabilities, if it does possess any at all, is psychological in nature and only occurs in a minority of the population. Your body doesn't develop a physical addiction to marijuana.

Alcohol is far more dangerous than weed. It makes people do things far worse than people would do on weed. But that's legal...

We could save so much tax revenue ending the illegality of pot and being more lenient on other drugs, and could lower crime so damn much overall.

Not to mention all the things that can be done with the cannabin plant. Fuel, plastics, textiles, food, medicine, fertilizer, paint... Whatever oil can do, pot can do better and cheaper, it's just not as profitable overall. The main lobbies that got it outlawed were the wood paper industry and the petrochemical industry. William Randolph Hearst didn't want competition, and he used his shill Ansligner to get his way, also outlawing industrial hemp that you cannot get high from. DuPont also lobbied to ouitlaw cannabis of smokable and non-smokable form. Today, the pharmaceutical industry and petrochemical industries lobby to keep it outlawed. Smokable pot makes a great medicine for cancer patients and people suffering from depression, but the pharmacuetical industry would rather sell people drugs that cause physical addictions with their withdrawl symptoms and have high profit magins. weed? you could grow that yourself for free. Can't make the drugs the pharms throw out on your own. The oil industry doesn't like it for obvious reasons. Biodiesel produced from industrial hemp could make us fully independent from oil, by using plots of desert land that would combined be about the size of Nevada, on land that would otherwise be unsuited for crops since nothnig but hemp is versatile enough to grow on this land.


Its benefits are immeasurable. So if you smoke, toke it up, just to spite your crooked government some more. Hell, grow it. You can do a lot more with it than smoke it! you can take the seeds, stems, buds, and leaves, crush out their sweet oils, and make diesel from it and run a car off it!
