Okay, so I got this game for my brother for Christmas and he didn't like it. He said "It's too simplistic" and "there's not much challenge" (it'd kind of make sense because he's on the second world). I'm kind of offended because, well, I thought it would be a great game and apparently it wasn't for him; it seems like it's an insult to my knowledge of games. My brother's planning on returning the game. Is this game actually worth keeping? What do you guys think about this game?

Never heard of the game. That means that I probably wouldn't keep it. But everyone has there own tastes. You make like that game while your brother hates it. However for a game that I have never heard of, I hope it didn't cost alot.I was like a Cloud once!!!!Comment

Your brother is an idiot. Has he ever played a videogame before? That's how they usually go, you know. They start off easy and then get harder as you go along. I wouldn't say your brother is an idiot, though I'd certainly say he's judging it too quickly. SMB2 is a fantastic game and very addictive. Try to get him to spend some more time with it.

The difficulty ramp of SMB2 is pretty out of whack though, the beginning levels are obscenely easy and instead of a gradual build up to harder levels, all of a sudden it had me wanting to pull my hair out.

SMB2 wins simply because of it's ad campaign. Remember the one with the guys in business suits saying things like "It's like a party only it's better then a party."
Still, SMB2 is somewhat of a cult-classic game, so if your brother is one of those normal types, it may not be his cup of tea.Comment
