Okay, so I got this game for my brother for Christmas and he didn't like it. He said "It's too simplistic" and "there's not much challenge" (it'd kind of make sense because he's on the second world). I'm kind of offended because, well, I thought it would be a great game and apparently it wasn't for him; it seems like it's an insult to my knowledge of games. My brother's planning on returning the game. Is this game actually worth keeping? What do you guys think about this game?

Re: Super Monkey Ball 2
Your brother is an idiot. Has he ever played a videogame before? That's how they usually go, you know. They start off easy and then get harder as you go along. Super Monkey Ball games are far from easy. Tell him to play it all the way through and tell you it was easy. If he can even get half way through it.Last edited by Naruto; 12-26-2005, 04:48 PM.

Re: Super Monkey Ball 2
The difficulty ramp of SMB2 is pretty out of whack though, the beginning levels are obscenely easy and instead of a gradual build up to harder levels, all of a sudden it had me wanting to pull my hair out.
But I dunno, it's been a long time since I played it.sig removed due to banned words being in playlist.

Yeah, never judge a videogame so soon. He isn't much of a geek is he?
Edit: I didn't mean you couldn't be a serious gamer without being a geek. I meant that Geeks like certain games that other people find, different. I figured that this game was one of those.Last edited by HolyPhoenix; 12-26-2005, 05:31 PM.I was like a Cloud once!!!!

Re: Super Monkey Ball 2
SMB2 wins simply because of it's ad campaign. Remember the one with the guys in business suits saying things like "It's like a party only it's better then a party."
Still, SMB2 is somewhat of a cult-classic game, so if your brother is one of those normal types, it may not be his cup of tea.
