    dwarven cities

I'm trying to make a Dwaven city and I want it underground.
Is it possible to put buildings in a dungeon?

Not using the dungeon editor. But you could hae a secret door in the dungeon leading to the city...I think.
Someone please confirm this, I'm out of practice with RPGM3.

You could use the field editor to create a series of high ridged valleys and since the camera would never show otherwise you could call it underground. Just play with the time of day and weather until it looks right.

You can bury buildings in the ground and walls in fields by either using the vertical move or placing buildings and changing the map afterwards.

It's not easy, but looks cool when done right.

        Good Luck with it.

        Peace.

Yeah, Rodak has a good idea there. You can have it at night. Just make sure that you set the time of day, so it stays that way.

Make a big valley all around. It will look really cool if you put enough effort into it.

            One drawback...

No Characters can be placed on field maps.

But with proper excuses, this can be overlooked.

Just use warp points and send people to dungeons instead of inside the buildiings and it may be what you need.

            Peace.

Actually, you could place dwarven cities on the sides of mountains. You could even create a dungeon similar to that of the Mines of Moria from Lord of the Rings.
